Dog's perspective of the NORCAL Storm

January 17, 2009 It was windy and raining  hard. According to the weather report this will last for 5 days. By the 4th day we lost electrical power. We used candles and a flashlight. We have our gas stove heater so we were warm inside the house. The electrical power was fixed the next day after 24 hours of power outage.


The fifth day we woke up and the ground was covered with white dust, they called snow. This picture is the front of our house

My first snow experience, it is 6AM and my human parents expects me to do my business out here.

and made my first snow ball

When it is time for me to go, I can not find the right spot. I think it is somewhere here.

So this is how to make the snow yellow.

I wonder how can a dog makes a snow angel.

I will never have any privacy from that camera. I CAN DO IT ON THE SNOW TOO!

Basic Lesson Sit 101

Wow treats! my favorite green beans. I jumped to reach the treat from my daddy's hand. He did not give it to me, instead he said SIT.

Like This? He said SIT again. All I want is the treat he is holding. He keeps on repeating the word SIT.

I got tired of so I rested........ then he said "good boy". Then I got the yummy green beans.

If this is called SIT then I will stay still and wait for his hand to give me the treat. For a piece of green beans I stay still and here comes the hand feeding me. I don't have to eat from my bowl. I think I understand what he wants, he said SIT 25 times so I got treats 25 times and 25 times he said "good boy".

If I could only eat them at one time from that container life will be easier. Just put down the container.
