The dog fence

We built the fence yesterday. From the backyard, the fence is attached to the end corner of the deck. The front area is connected to the back of the garage.

I made sure that this is going to be a team work and everybody has to do their share. I pulled my mommy's pajama to let her know it was time to change to her working clothes.

Here she is, clearing the path where the dog fence and the vegetable garden boundary ends.

And here I am helping my daddy.

It was a long day, we finally finished in the afternoon. I was tired and needed a lot of rest.

The next day, Don and Diana came to visit me and to see my fence.  Notice that Diana is not wearing her shoes but I can not let it pass with Don. I like chewing shoes and Don's shoes was very chewy.  Don and Diana has two dogs, they are Mini  ( Papillon ) and Lola. ( mixed breed ) I have not met them yet. Mini and Lola are friends with Taffy my Grandma's cocker spaniel.

Dog life is good.....

My first long walk

I have been good in using the leash so my daddy and I walked along Jackson Mill. I am supposed to be familiarized to people, other pets, squirrels, birds and deers along the way. I heard a dog barking but I could not find where the sound was coming from. Then I saw this little brown dog smaller than me. I heard from my daddy and the other human talking. This brown dog is called a chihuahua. His name is Buster. We started to play and as I jumped around Buster stopped. Then Buster said, " I am an adult dog and I don't play like a stinking puppy". I gave Buster a puzzled look, then he said. "Don't you know that I am a famous dog, the "Yo te quiero Taco Bell" icon? First I am not that old, and second this is Groveland we don't have a Taco Bell in this area so he is not an icon of anything. Groveland cater to the tourist, we have Cocina Michoacana for Mexican food. I sat still for a long time as my daddy and Buster's human master were having conversation. As my daddy and I were leaving Buster commented that "your cabeza is mucho loco than pollo loco" I don't know what it meant since I am still adjusting with my daddy speaking in english and my mommy speaks with a japinoy accent.
